How to Clean Motor Oil from Driveway Pavers

Q. A parked car on our driveway apparently leaked oil onto the pavers. What product can I use to remove it, or do they need to be replaced?

A. More often than not, dirty pavers can be cleaned and restored to like new condition for a lot less than the cost of replacement. Our stone experts recommend using a poultice with a good degreaser on your pavers. For instructions on how to create your own poultice, visit our Stain Removal Application. The poultice can be flour or any commercial, plain poultice powder mixed with a degreaser. If you would rather just purchase a poultice kit, visit Stone Care Central. Follow label instructions, and you should be able to successfully clean your dirty pavers.
