limestone with mold / mildew stains in grout joints.

Q. We have mold buildup in grout joints and surface has film on it. What is best to clean mold and remove film from surface?

A. There are several cleaners that will remove the mold but you must be careful to choose one that will not damage the limestone. I would recommend that you use a mold and mildew stain remover for marble and limestone, available at Stone Care Central.

To take it a step further, your grout can also be sealed with an impregnating sealer with very effective anti-fungul properties. Click on Find a PRO at www.stoneandtilepros.com to locate a contractor in your area that can perform this service for you.
