John Freitag began in the stone restoration and maintenance business in 1989. From 1989 until July 1991 he sold
franchises for a major marble and stone restoration franchisor. In 1991 he joined with an Orlando franchise owner
and opened a franchise in the Orlando, FL market. Within the first 3 years this franchise grew to become the highest
sales volume franchise in the United States and held the number one spot in sales from 1994 until 1999 when a franchise
in Dallas, TX took the #1 spot for one year. The Orlando franchise re-claimed the top position in 2000 and continued
holding that position through 2008.
In 2004 John was hired by the franchisor as President to lead the franchise system and train other franchisees in the
practices that made the Orlando Franchise so successful.
John has worked on projects the size of a small residential customer foyer up to residential customer homes that had
more than 12,000 plus square feet in them. He has worked in hotel renovation projects in major hotels that included
18,000 plus square feet lobbies and 700 guest rooms with vanity top restoration. From floors to walls to counter tops
and from natural stone to engineered stone John has worked on them all.
He has worked in major theme park attractions in their hotels performing restoration and maintenance.
The success that John has had stems from his ability to deliver jobs on time and be profitable. The franchise he
operated currently ranks as the most profitable franchise in the company in the United States.
