What does Juparana mean in the context of granite names? |

In looking at all the beautiful stones I keep seeing very different looking stones that have Jupurana in their names. Can you please tell me what Jupurana means in this context?
Juparana Classico comes from Brazil and is named for Lake Juparana - actually Lagoa Juparana. Similar stones coming from other countries were name according to it.
