Remove faux finish - quote

Q: Hi all, I would like to get a quote to fix a coffee table, pure travertine. The coffee table has a lot of scraches and cracks. The size of the travertine is 145cm length and 75cm width and 45mm thick. Please let me know how much it would cost to remove and replace the faux finish.

A: There are many different variables that need to be considered when pricing this type of work: the severty of damage, previous work performed, how the stone has been maintained, how it is going to be used, market area, etc. Without performing a proper evaluation of the stone there is no way to give an accurate estimate. To restore a small area could be more expensive then restoring all larger area which would require less attention. I would recommend you contact a stone restoration specialist for this type of repair, You can find a qualified pro at www.stoneandtilepros.com/findapro/.
