How can I remove some spill spots on kitchen marble floor?

A. If these spots are dull etch marks from someone spilling something acidic on the tiles, then you can try to repolish the spots with the ETCH REMOVER www.StoneCareCentral.com  If they are stains then you will need to apply a poultice to remove the stain. You can either create a poultice yourself, or if you would prefer something more convenient, try the Dr. Fred's Stain Sponge, which you can also get at Stonecare Central.

How can you tell the difference between a stain and an etch? When marble etches it will appear lighter than the stone and may feel somewhat rough (depending on the severity). When it is a true stain, it will be darker. In some cases, you may find that it is both -- for instance if you spill wine or soft drinks. If it is both, you will have to treat the etch and the stain separately.
