Q.  I have Ubatuba granite & it is filmy, looks dull & leaves water spots on it when I wipe it. How can I fix this?

A. It is not the stone itself that is the problem but something on the surface of the stone. You may have either a dish soap residue build up, in which case we recommend that you clean it with  a good quality, stone safe soap film remover (available at Stone Care Central) to remove the build up, or there is excess sealer coating lying on the surface instead of ’in’ the stone, in which case it needs to be removed by a stone restoration professional.
